GAZA - The Politics behind the War

“What we have just seen and continue to see in the Israeli/Gaza conflict is nothing more than a despicable form of political showmanship.

The attack which ignited tensions, came from Israeli forces that turned on and shot down a 12 year old Palestinian boy who was playing soccer - 8th of November.

This comes just two days after the US election and two months before the Israeli election. This se
ems like a staged effort to re-assert Netanyahu’s public image as a ‘hawk’ to the Israeli constituents in the lead-up to the elections.

The recent attacks also follow an earlier deal between Netanyahu and the Obama Administration to increase funding for the Israeli Military to a record 3 billion dollars. This deal includes aiding the development of Israel’s ‘Iron Dome’ which has successfully blocked a good amount of the ineffective missiles fired by Hamas into Southern Israel.

So now why would the Obama Administration increase foreign spending when the US economy is still in a recovery stage? Well, this all happened on the 27th of July just 1 day before Romney’s visit to Israel when he was gathering more of the Conservative Jewish vote in states like Florida and his national approval rating had surpassed that of Obama’s.

Had Israel not been given the increased military funding and had it attacked the way it has, prior to the US election, it would of given Romney a talking point in regards to Obama’s ‘weak’ foreign policy (which was already questioned after the innocent killing of a US ambassador in Libya.)

I believe that the Obama Administration agreed to sign on this record $3 billion military deal with Israel co-incidentally in the year of 2012 to discourage Israel from inciting any military violence during his election campaign as that would of hurt Obama’s chances of re-election.

Now that he is elected, it’s time for Netanyahu to instate fear among Israeli voters and prove that his ‘tough stance’ on Hamas is the safest choice for Israeli’s in the January 2013 election. Very political and just disgusting.”

Temptations, Mistakes and Life lessons learned. DNM.

Cheap temptations are easy to reject.
It is when you are tested with something that is the very best, that the real struggle ensues.

Al7amdulilah ya Rabb, you tested me with the best of temptations, I went back and forth and created barriers for myself from your love, but after three years of repetitive mistakes and repentance that just didn’t cut it -

You took the best of temptations from me so forcefully, and I see you did it because you want me to know you love me.

You tested me with the best there was, and I might not have passed but you took away my mistake, to show me I am better than even the best way to do something(s) wrong.

Overnight, the veils I tried to put between us, that wouldn’t be shaken for years, were lifted.

Overnight I fell in love with You, with Islam, again.

And its true what they say, sometimes even if you try hard, a constant mistake you might excuse for yourself comes between you and Allah and doesn’t allow you to bring yourself closer to Him.

I’ve been blessed with the strength to conquer worlds, with these amazing people in my heart and my life, the friends that stand stronger than family and the bonds of blood, by me.

And al7amdulilah thumma al7amdulilah, for the father you gave me - In all our hardships, our conflicting opinions and different ways of seeing life, as tough as he’s always been on me, you have given me, since day one, a person who is the best guardian of my morality, of my conscience - a person who maintained and nurtured my Fitrah to its strength. A person who has made me a soldier for you, ya Allah, a mujahida for your cause in its every aspect.

Thank you Allah, for testing me with the best, and showing me I am better than it.

I haven’t felt such contentment in so long.

Allahu Akbar wa lillahil hamd.

Ina lillaha wa ina ilaihi rajioon.
